Project Title:

Examining the relationship between mental health symptoms and health care utilization in adults with low back pain

 

Project Background:  

To date, no population-based study has assessed the joint effects of mental health symptoms and low back pain on health care utilization. This study will assess the joint effects of mental health symptoms and low back pain on health care utilization in adults with low back pain in Ontario, Canada. This is a population-based retrospective cohort study using population health surveys linked with health administrative data.

 

 

Project Objectives:

To assess the joint effects of mental health symptoms and low back pain on health care utilization in adults with low back pain.
